I am very glad to stand here to give thier a short speech.Today my topic is that the youth are the future of motherland
When preparing for the English speech contest, I simply want to search some articles as the contents of my speech. I read a lot of articles, some from the university professor, some from the famous host, some from the college students, and even from junior high school students. But after reading it, I gave up the idea, I even felt shameful. Today, the topic I want to talk about is a solemn and serious theme full of glory and pride, which is a common aspiration of all our Chinese. Every Chinese has his own dream of China, and of course, there is a dream lingering in my heart only belongs to my own.
So what’s my Chinese dream ? Finally I will announce.
We had learned a lot of knowledge and understood a lot of truth in the book. We had a basic concept to our country at that time. We know that our country is full of sunshine , and we are the future of our country, and our dreams are to be the hope of our motherland.
However,We don’t know what time to start,We are grow up,Life became not the same, though we don’t want to admit, it’s the truth that our mind and attitude to our country is changing. Our society became full of deception, indifference, intrigue, pressure, corruption, sinister, and we became irritable and not calm, detest the world and its ways. Our country seems to have become in a disastrous state too. A lot of young students who were nurtured by our motherland became impatient, let alone what are their dreams , what is the china dream ?
I was surprised ,when the old man fell down in the street,We are afraid to help him.I was disappointed ,when someone do good things were reported, many people think he was affectation, I was sad, when I saw many of young people become indifferent ,fraud and lack of ideal.
Are we sick, or is our dear motherland sick?
I don’t want to talk about the construction of our country politics, and also speak impassioned speech on the Diaoyu Island event .I just want to appeal young people, showing the side of youth, good and confidence. We must learn to organize our own thoughts, correct our own concept, and change our direction to the right side in future life. China dream actually lies in our young generation, especially of the intellectuals.
Perhaps the strength of a person is small, but when his or her fate is connected with the motherland, he or she will be hero or heroine. Perhaps a dream is tiny, but when it becomes the dream of a country, it becomes inestimable. Perhaps I cannot change our country by my own, but if thousands and thousands of young people struggle for the dream together, our motherland is enough to make the world shock.
I dream to construct our beauty China with millions of young people who have the same dream. We do it without exaggeration but only with persistence.
That is my speech,thanks everyone.
good evening ,ladies and gentlemen: 晚上好，女士们，先生们：
thank you very much for choosing to come in such a cold night.today my topic is about choice and process.a research shows that a man has to make 73 choices one day.with so many choices one day, people easily get so confused and afraid of making wrong choice that they hesitate and finally miss the true part of life. in my opinion, the following part is of much more importance than the choice. there is no absolute right or wrong choice but wonderful or boring life, which the process makes the difference.
life is a box of chocolate, you never know what you will get. forrest gump made no decision by and for himself but he accomplished great success with his strong will in the process. the process is not the road itself but the attitudes and feelings ,the caution, courage and persistance we have as we encounter new experience and unexpected obstacles. take myself as an example, i changed my major when i became a postgraduate. after the choice, days have been harsh for me.i cannot understand the new lessons at all. for they are closely related to mathmatics which i learned nothing about before. however wuth the belief that this is the great chance for me to experience new ideas and challenge myself,i persisted. i asked for help from every channel and reorgonized my life. gradually i could understand some parts and even found maths interesting.moreover, i learned to act instead of complaining. in retrospect, the choice left no trace in my mind but the happiness and bitterness of the past four months becomes an unforgetable experience in my life.
no matter what the choice is, enjoy the process. in the process, your potential will be inspired and new discoveries, improvement and progress will come to you. these are the most beautiful sceneries and only on the way can you see it.these make your life colorful.
there is no need and i donnot want to judge whether it right or wrong for me to be here, but i congratulate to myself for i gain and enjoy this fantastic experience. so my dear friends, never worry about your choice and enjoy the process. i am sure you will get something new and intersting tonight after you chose to come here. thank you!
good evening, ladies and gentlemen:
i’d like to start with a group of pictures.
”modern and advanced”? this society forgets, and ignores the other two thirds of human beings. it’s far from the ideal! we call ideal as a utopian, a place where reality does not exist. a few people still look forward to the ideals. we make fun of them, considering they are naive. will we still be content to live in such a society, if misfortune drops to us? no! of cause not!
when we feel the warmth of the sun, these people, endure great sorrows and pains. can we imagine that? they are our brother and sisters!
facing them, will we still complain about our own misfortune?
facing them, will we still have the mood shouting for our own freedom? facing them, will we still want to have more and more unnecessary stuff?
they are unable to meet their needs, even the basic needs of survival! everyone, as a member of humanity, shouldn’t feel ashamed? our luxury deprived their lives, our indifference violated our soul, and our barbarity destroyed human civilization!
what’s the ideal society? it’s a society no one worries about their living, a society no one is refused from education, a society everyone can pursue his/her own happiness! the ideal society is filled with love, joy and kindness. in that society, we can touch the other’s hearts, we can share our dreams and most important, we can just be the true men!
let’s break the ethnic divide, bridge the gap between rich and poor, hand in hand, to build a great wall, protecting us from evil; to construct a steady bridge, connecting reality to the ideal society! let’s pursue for that, that’s the only way to the bright future! they are watching us! thank you!
good morning, dear teacher and my friends.
it’s a very intresting topic today.
i think my dad was a hero for me when i was a young child. we’d go fishing, walks, and other fun things for a kid.
every child has a good and great father, and so do i. my dad played a very important role in my daily life““`exactly speaking, in my past 16 years.
my father always stands in the center of my life， from past till now and possibly in the future.
my family was rather poor when i was in my childhood. we didn’t have our own house and had to live in a shabby， small room rented from my father’s factory. the room was so small that there was little space for people to walk. i didn’t have my own bed and had to sleep with my parents. this is terrible both for my parents and me.
but father made this all different!he works very hard on his own business, now we have our own 2 housese, surly,i have my own room.and he take our family so much happiness, richer and richer.
when i was little, i did everything with my dad. you could always find me sitting on his knee or walking and doing everything with him. every night he would read me a bed time story and make the voices of each character.
i learnt a lot from my daddy. i learnt to never take things to seriously and to always smile.
like many other fathers, my dad and i also has generation gap. he is not good at or even can’t work the computer. so when i sitting at the computer desk,he will say something like ‘you should pay more attention to your study’, ‘don’t waste time on the computer games’ , ‘it will be bad for your eyes’ and so on. how can i- a computer fan – reduce time on computer? so i continue studying and playing on it
years pasted, my father is over 45 now. it is time for me to look after him and i am sure i will do and we will live an even better life. and i will say,i really love you dad, cause you are the hero in my mind.
thank you so much!
this is for my people who just lost somebody, your best friend, your baby, your man or your lady. lift your head to the sky, we will never say bye.
these are words of the song bye-bye. every time when i hear it, i’ll always lose myself in grief recalling the tough time we came through in 2011.
the snow storm, the tibet issue, the obstruction to the olympic torch relay，the earthquake……time dates back to the day the horrible earth quake occurred in sichuan, tens of thousands of people lost life and families. i’ll never forget those days i sat front of the tv, moved by people never gave up under ruins even there’s little hope to survive. i’ll never forget those days most newspapers and websites were all in black and white. i’ll never forget those days i had my black coat on, writing down my best wishes to the suffering people.
at the same time, i also remember those days my friends abroad told me that they joined in the protest against western world’s bias on china and the fight against the tibetan separatists. i can still remember the day when i went to see the torch relay at hangzhou with heart shaped stickers on cheek. i wore the t-shirt with words light the passion, light the dream . when the torch passed by, we cheered go china, go beijing, sang the national anthem again and again, waving flags, dancing, hugging, clapping.
it was the opening ceremony of 2008 beijing olympic games which shocked the whole world and told the entire human yes, we can.
yes, we can, because we are united and brave
yes, we can because we have trust and love
yes, we can because we are the member of the great nation china
